EPoS with Vista Retail ensures business as usual for major Spar distributor

AF Blakemore, the Spar distributor to some 700 stores across England and Wales, has renewed its electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) service and maintenance agreement with EPoS maintenance services company, Vista Retail Support, to ensure that its tills are always open for business.

Vista will continue to support the retailer over the next three years across its 260 sites, providing service on 578 lanes of instore EPoS. This also includes service and maintenance on all its hardware in its stores.

James Lloyd, IT manager at AF Blakemore, said: “Our EPoS system is an essential part of our business. We need our systems running efficiently at all times. We have a great relationship with Vista and they are one of our most trusted suppliers. Vista understands what we need as a business in order for our estate to run smoothly and efficiently at all times.”
