Cash management provider wins nationwide contract for CASH360 solution with holiday village operator

Cash management provider wins nationwide contract for CASH360 solution with holiday village operator

Center Parcs has awarded a contract worth over £800,000 to G4S Cash Solutions to deliver its instore cash management solution, CASH360 solutions, in all four of its holiday villages.

The move is part of a wider initiative by Center Parcs to drive efficiencies in its cash management operations. CASH360 was selected following a trial of potential solutions at Center Parcs’ Sherwood Forest site.

Around 90 cash tills at each Center Parcs village will be processed through the CASH360 system allowing for automation of till deposit, till dispense and change functions across a variety of retail outlets, giving the company visibility of cash held at each of their sites through the CASH360 customer portal. The CASH360 solution will also be integrated into Center Parcs’ existing financial reporting systems to provide an end-to-end retail reporting package.

Cash efficiency vital

CASH360 consists of instore technology, which automates cash processes and is integrated with G4S’ own software. According to the vendor this, in turn, can be linked with a retailer’s instore devices in order to deliver real-time insight into cash positions and to provide analysis of the cash inventory at every level.

CASH360 is remotely monitored so that any issues can be resolved quickly and enable remote software updates, backed by a UK team of CASH360 field engineers.

Paul Mann, Center Parcs group financial accountant, said: “CASH360 has proved to be an integral part of our cash handling and processing modernisation programme. With 1.6 million visitors a year to our villages and around 100 shops, cafes and restaurants to spend cash in, ensuring that our cash management processes are as efficient as possible is vital to our business.”
