Fashion retailer launches prepaid card with PrePay Solutions

Ladies fashion retailer Hobbs is launching a prepaid card with the support of PrePay Solutions. The card is redeemable in 60 stores throughout the UK.

Emma Osborn, head of business systems at Hobbs, commented: “We are delighted to now offer our customers the gift card as a payment method and gift alternative, and are looking forward to extending the functionality and continuing our strong relationship with PrePay Solutions by accepting payment on gift card online in the near future.”

Extending consumer choice

Gilles Coccoli, managing director at PrePay Solutions, added: “Hobbs is a major name in the British fashion market, and we’re delighted to have worked with them to launch the new card. It provides a broad choice for the consumer, as it offers them a wide choice of denominations, from £50 to £200. I am sure it will prove to be a highly popular gift.”

The new prepaid card marks a further expansion in the retail sector for PrePay Solutions, which has also launched a gift card with TM Lewin alongside those it already provides for Ted Baker and Debenhams.
