E-commerce retailer is to offer free next day delivery to online customers throughout June, based on consumer research and provision of Collect+ service

In a new scheme that has been launched following consumer research, Very.co.uk shoppers will be able to place their order with free next day delivery via the Collect+ service.

Collect+ offers customers the option to pick up their items from over 35,00 locations nationwide, open from 7am-7pm, meaning customers need never miss a delivery again.

With many local collection points to choose from the service not only holds parcels safely, but their extended hours means they can be collected early or late, near work or home without the queues of a central Post Office.

Responding to customer demand

The Collect + service is available on all of Very.co.uk’s products including women’s clothing, electrical and home accessories.

In the research conducted by Nunwood, shoppers requested free next day delivery, greater flexibility for when products can arrive, convenient locations to collect items from and ease of use.

The free Collect+ next-day delivery for Very.co.uk customers, extends its free returns service and will work with its existing parcel tracking facility online.

Earlier this year, the online retailer was also the first to adopt the multimedia hosting and interactive publishing platform of Adobe Scene7 to target mobile devices.
