Value retailer selects Sanderson to manage Retail-J till estate

 

Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of retail software and services, has been selected by value retailer TJ Hughes to support its Retail-J estate.

 

TJ Hughes specialises in selling a wide range of branded products at discounted prices. The estate comprises 57 department stores, each with between 12 and 30 electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) systems.

 

With a large estate and a constantly changing stock list, TJ Hughes requires a robust EPoS system providing real-time reporting and processing sales quickly and accurately. Past experience in similar businesses has enabled Sanderson to quickly and effectively configure and run the system.

 

Rapid sign up and go-live

 

After identifying the need for a partner that both understands and is experienced in implementing and supporting the Retail-J product, TJ Hughes selected Sanderson for its reputation, experience and referenceable customer base. TJ Hughes was so convinced of Sanderson’s ability that there were just three weeks between the initial meeting and the go-live.

 

As further testament of TJ Hughes’s conviction in the capabilities of Sanderson, the management of their EPoS estate was passed to Sanderson just two weeks before Christmas; and Sanderson was able to support and provide improvements to the estate during this busy trading period.
