Gio-Goi, the British young fashion brand sold and distributed in the UK and Europe, has selected a complete retail solution from K3 Retail, a UK provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology, to drive its business

The British label is famously worn by a new generation of Brit Rock stars, including Plan B and has just opened its first UK store in Aberdeen, Scotland. It chose K3 Retail to manage its electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) requirements, back-office functionality for reporting and store sales, and multichannel trading.

Alan Swain, Gio-Goi finance director, said: “We wanted to look at one systems provider to manage all our store requirements both retail and wholesale.”

Fast turnaround supports growth ambitions

Gio-Goi selected K3 to quickly deliver an integrated approach to its business. Swain continued: “When we began talking to K3 we made it clear that we needed a system in place for the store opening in Aberdeen. We want our store staff to have access to real time stock information, and improved communication between the store and head office and by working with K3 we are confident we will be able to achieve this.”

The retailer plans to open a further ten stores in 2011 and will look to K3 to implement a new finance and wholesale system to support this growth. K3 will also work with Gio-Goi to improve its online business to provide a multichannel experience.
