Fashion retailer selects TBG Digital to drive retail direct response Facebook campaign

 

New Look is working with marketing and technology company TBG Digital to develop targeted Facebook and social media advertising campaigns.

 

TBG said it was selected due to its experience and in-depth expertise of creating e-commerce channels within Facebook and other social media outlets.

 

The New Look campaign devised by TBG draws on Daily Deals, a direct response application that is designed to allow New Look to interact with its Facebook audience in real time and adapt offers to individuals’ purchasing interests.

 

Retail embraces direct social response

 

Retailers are among the largest group of TBG clients using direct response techniques to engage Facebook audiences. Developed by the agency, Daily Deals allows retailers to run special offers within the Facebook environment. A custom tab is typically created on a retailer’s Facebook page for the Daily Deals application. It added that, for many retailers, the success of the Daily Deals Facebook programme lies in its ability to continuously engage audiences with evolving and appropriate time-limited offers that directly appeal to individual interests.

 

“Facebook advertising is an obvious avenue to explore for retailers as it allows you to target niche audiences at scale. Our new Daily Deals product allows clients to display daily offers on their Facebook page without paying Groupon any commission. ONE Media Manager then maximises the performance of the media by running thousands of ad variants against all the different targeting available on Facebook and dynamically changing CPC [cost-per-click] bids based on what creative generates the best ROI [return on investment],” said Simon Mansell, TBG Digital chief executive.
