Increase in ATM revenues reflects long-term partnership benefits as motorway services company extends exclusive contract to 2017

Increase in ATM revenues reflects long-term partnership benefits as motorway services company extends exclusive contract to 2017

Roadchef, one of the UK’s big three motorway service area operators has announced an early contract extension to 2017 for fully managed ATM services with independent ATM provider Cashzone.

Exceeding projected forecasts, Roadchef reported its ATM revenues up by some 3% on 2010, which it attributes to Cashzone’s service excellence and the value of a venerable partnership in cash provision.

Building on continued success

“Extending our contract with Cashzone was clearly a no-brainer,” said Roadchef director of loss prevention, Michael Heaton.

“ATM reliability and availability is critical to meet increasing customer demand, which is up across our estate as we roll out a major regeneration programme. The long-standing relationship established with Cashzone pays real dividends in working with a trusted partner which delivers exceptional customer service, understands our operation and reflects our brand values.”

With its acquisition of OmniCash in April this year, Cashzone is now one of the largest independent cash machine operators in the UK, with an estate of some 6,000 ATMs.
