Co-op assures new e-pharmacy information

The Co-operative Group’s new e-pharmacy website is working with Brandbank to ensure that consumers enjoy consistent, accurate and up-to-date brand information   The new Co-operative Pharmacy website intends to have 7,000 different products available over the next 12 months, with Brandbank aggregating and syndicating their product imagery and information to provide all of the relevant content to display online.

The new Co-operative Pharmacy website intends to have 7,000 different products available over the next 12 months, with Brandbank aggregating and syndicating their product imagery and information to provide all of the relevant content to display online.

 

The new e-pharmacy website is designed to allow the Co-operative to reach a wider customer base, including targeting additional demographic groups that haven’t yet experienced one of its 774 UK branches.

 

Minimising site maintenance

 

Rick Bennett, Co-operative Pharmacy e-buyer, explained: “Brandbank gives us the re-assurance that the information we are presenting to our customer base is accurate and up-to-date.

 

“Using Brandbank’s services allows the Co-operative Group to manage our in-house resource a lot more effectively, freeing up time to improve the website and deliver what the customers demand. From a technical perspective, the Brandbank service means that we have to undertake minimal maintenance of product content and imagery.”

 

The Co-operative Pharmacy also stated that it intends to put the product imagery and information supplied by Brandbank to use across different internal business functions, including its marketing and space planning teams.
