Creative studio creates “Thanks, we like you too” digital installation for Dutch fashion label

 

Dutch fashion brand Scotch & Soda has created a campaign officially thanking their Amsterdam-based fans of its Facebook page for their support, by ‘liking’ them back.

 

Called “Thanks, we like you too,” Scotch & Soda Facebook fans are being celebrated via a digital installation in the brand’s flagship Amsterdam store.

 

On a digital window display, fans names will animate in a handwritten style across black and white Scotch & Soda brand images selected from the current season’s collections.

 

Digital marketing for high impact

 

The installation, by international creative studio Perfect Fools, is designed to demonstrate the brand’s pride in their Amsterdam Facebook fans and encourage other ‘Amsterdammers’ to support the brand, which was founded in the city.

 

Michael Aneto, head of strategic planning at Perfect Fools, said: “Scotch & Soda’s fans feel a strong sense of ownership and actively contribute to the brand’s evolution. Celebrating them shows the label is equally proud of its fans.

 

“We have brought together Scotch & Soda fans, their collections and their biggest Amsterdam audience – which is actually instore. Making the digital physical through an installation means Scotch &Soda can thank their fans personally for liking them.”

 

The installation was unveiled on Tuesday 13 December at Scotch & Soda’s Heiligeweg store and will run through the peak Christmas period until 2 January 2012.
