POD, a growing UK healthy fast food brand favouring seasonal organic food, has chosen Odyssé electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) terminals from the Aures Group.

The food retailing chain will use Odyssé EPoS for cashdesk operations in its 12 London restaurants. It also plans to open 10 new outlets in the near future.

Six or seven Posligne touchscreen systems in each POD restaurant run POSLink software, developed and installed by UK EPoS specialists, Intelligent Business Systems.

Quick service, easy on the eye

“AURES touchscreen hardware offers reliability, robustness and high performance, key attributes for quick service restaurants,” said Gareth Powell, Intelligent Business Systems managing director.

Tim HALL, POD founder and chief executive, added: “Quality design is integral to the look and feel of a POD outlet. The unique, coloured Posligne terminals by Aures match and complement our interiors and greatly contribute to the modern ambience.

“Technically speaking, Aures equipment is a tried and tested, perfectly reliable solution – a key requirement for our hectic restaurants and harsh environment” concluded Hall.
