Fashion retailer selects hybris for international multichannel roll out
Within this, hybris said its business-to-commerce (B2C) software module, would underpin the roll out of new international websites for the two interconnected brands, providing a central e-commerce solution that can support specific features, such as a shared shopping basket to improve speed and ease of ordering and streamline the customer experience.
International growth strategy
With 1,362 Monsoon and Accessorize branches and a presence in over 68 countries, as well as a thriving online business, the retailer plans to grow both brands’ e-commerce business significantly over the next five years, both in the UK and internationally.
The retailer reviewed a range of platforms before selecting hybris through its long-term strategic partner, Portaltech, which will manage the integration of the new platform.
In addition to requiring a best-of-breed platform with proven international capability and multisite, multi-lingual management, hybris added that Monsoon Accessorize was looking for support to integrate mobile web and application solutions and tight integration to its own back-end systems for multichannel fulfilment.
Multichannel services development
The retailer will now be able to implement ‘click & collect’ and ‘order in store, deliver to home’ services across its international operations, as well as loyalty card and gift voucher services. The Product Content Management facility will allow it to manage its product information efficiently and trade both brands effectively with a single user experience through the hybris web content management system (WCMS) and hybris B2C Commerce.
