Luxury online fashion retailer Avenue 32 boosts SEO traffic and conversions after five-way pitch

Luxury online fashion retailer Avenue 32 boosts SEO traffic and conversions after five-way pitch

Luxury womenswear e-commerce retailer Avenue 32 has signed a search engine optimisation (SEO) contract with Liverpool and London-based web specialist Hit Search after a five-way pitch.

The objective set by London-based Avenue 32, which sells international designer brands such as Aquascutum, Giles Deacon and Temperley, was to turn its new website into a revenue generator through its online shop.

Hit Search will complete an initial six-month campaign, which started 1 February 2012 for Avenue 32 and has already received 24,268 hits in the first 26 days. The e-tailer’s website has already seen a 37% increase in traffic and a subsequent 39% increase in revenue.

Delivering rapid results

Violaine Muras, Avenue 32digital commerce manager, said: “Hit Search was the first choice for Avenue 32 due to its extensive experience and proven track record in the online retail sector, which helped put weight behind the forecasting they presented. We are already seeing some excellent improvements since working with them and have confidence this will continue this year.”

Andy Donaldson, co-founder of Hit Search, added that the agency pitch was successful after sharing its knowledge in the online fashion arena and a financial forecast to complement its proposed strategy. “Our experience with some of the UK’s leading e-commerce platforms has afforded us the ability to get around any technical challenges that other online marketing agencies may struggle with,” he said.
