PizzaExpress first on the menu to supply instant digital rewards for Clubcard members

 

Tesco has joined forces with Eagle Eye to digitally distribute Tesco Clubcard Rewards vouchers to its customers for the first time.

 

The digital gift voucher systems developer is providing Tesco with a new secure and efficient way to manage its customer reward programme, with UK restaurant chain PizzaExpress as the first partner.

 

Tesco Clubcard customers can now exchange their Clubcard points for digitally delivered PizzaExpress rewards. With existing paper-based vouchers taking up to five days to arrive in the post, Clubcard members can now receive rewards from PizzaExpress via email within two hours and redeem them at participating restaurants.

 

Maximising campaign traceability

 

Every online request that Tesco receives for a PizzaExpress reward is authenticated by Eagle Eye’s system. A unique voucher code is automatically generated and a personalised email containing the reward is sent to the customer, so that it can be redeemed. Assigning a unique code to every reward ensures that it can only be redeemed once.

"Eagle Eye is helping us to do precisely that. With this partnership, we're now able to offer our customers same day access to their reward. We can also better understand redemption, helping us to tailor our service to what it is customers really want.”
