Department store chain announces plan to implement product information management software across its operations

 

House of Fraser recently revealed it is to implement the STEP data management system from Stibo Systems to help manage the retailer’s product information.

 

With 60 department stores throughout the UK and over 1 million products available in store and online, House of Fraser recently won Multichannel Retailer of the Year at the Retail Systems Awards. Keen to enhance the customer experience even further, it recognised the need to implement a system that would help it to manage the complex flow of product information across the enterprise and deliver an improved experience for its customers.

Stibo Systems’ STEP platform will help House of Fraser to consolidate all its product information into a single repository where it can be managed effectively by merchandisers and product managers. The STEP platform will then deliver accurate and consistent information to all sales channels both today and in the future.
