The 3rd Annual European E-Commerce Conference will take place on the 22nd November and will once again bring together e-commerce businesses and policy makers for an authoritative debate on the state of play and future directions for e-commerce, and will ask the question: How can the European Union ensure a functioning single market for goods and digital services in Europe?

The 3rd Annual European E-Commerce Conference will take place on the 22nd November and will once again bring together e-commerce businesses and policy makers for an authoritative debate on the state of play and future directions for e-commerce, and will ask the question: How can the European Union ensure a functioning single market for goods and digital services in Europe?

This year’s event will feature over 250 delegates and will include a morning, high-level plenary that will be followed by focused parallel sessions. These sessions will deal with specific areas such as intellectual property rights and copyright, notice and takedown, online dispute resolution, payments, data protection, deliveries and logistics. The sessions will enable smaller groups to discuss the issues at hand in a more collegiate and cooperative manner. The conclusions from these workshops will be presented at the end of the conference by the organisers.

This conference is organised by EDiMA (the European Digital Media Association) and EMOTA (the European Multi-Channel and Online Trade Association) in collaboration with Forum Europe.

Issues to be explored include:

- Intellectual property rights, liability & copyright - where does the regulatory balance lie?

- Achieving optimal levels of consumer rights across Europe including online dispute resolution

- Postal services and logistics - what new business models are emerging?

- Internet safety including data privacy, fraud prevention, and protection of minors.

...plus much more!
