The third annual gifts, gadgets and toys sector event, Unwrapped, is back for 2012 with a new range of brands and seasonal products for advertisers to showcase in preparation for the festive online shopping season.

The event organised by affiliate marketing provider, Affiliate Window, will take place on Thursday October 4th at Gilt London and is an exclusive affair with only 100 available places up for grabs.

 

The organiser said that, in previous years, Unwrapped has provided an opportunity for advertisers to prepare marketing campaigns ahead of the busy Christmas period and introduce their predicted top sellers to a room full of relevant and engaged publishers.

 

Focusing on seasonal best sellers

 

Gavin Jones, owner of content site Gifts and Lists, commented on his experience at Unwrapped 2011: “This was my second year attending and as well as picking up some fantastic information, meeting new contacts and exploring new opportunities, I found that the event really focuses the mind for the build-up to the festive season. I took plenty of notes and was introduced to some great products.”

 

Last year’s event saw a mix of 60% of the top 200 publishers on the network attend along with 40% content sites specifically within the gifts, gadgets and toys vertical. This engaged group of prospects provided a fantastic setting for networking and building relationships.

 

Affiliate Window added that advertisers already booked to attend Unwrapped 2012 include Interflora, The Entertainer, GLTC, and Whittard of Chelsea.
