Supply chain software provider JDA Software will be holding a workshop on Integrated Business Planning and S&OP at the Williams F1 Conference Centre, Oxfordshire on Tuesday 2nd October 2012.

The Integrated Business Planning and S&OP Workshop will help attendees understand how to stay ahead of the competition when it comes to the ability to respond to changing market conditions.

Oliver Wight, a thought leader in Integrated Business Planning, will explain how a repeatable process that allows all the main business functions to work together can keep a business aligned with its strategic plan, delivering substantial benefits straight to your bottom line.

The S&OP Workshop will also show attendees how to manage the unprecedented levels of market volatility which have given rise to the need for Integrated Business Planning practices and S&OP processes without relying on inefficient tools such as Excel, email and Powerpoint.

The workshop will enable attendees to:

  • Understand how to manage the “gap” between the current plan and the annual operating plan.
  • Analyse and view data through multiple lenses and to cope with a regional/global matrix process
  • Administer the S&OP process itself using workflow, exceptions and audit trails
  • Identify performance gaps early to ensure optimal profitability
  • Learn how appropriate aggregation underpins the process of timely decision making
  • Understand the importance of enabling accountability through transparent impact analysis and providing a “corporate memory”
  • Support adoption through familiarity and ease of use

Attendees of this workshop will experience managing an Integrated Business Planning process using Excel and the JDA S&OP application. Register here to reserve a place.
