Marks & Spencer transforms business processes with PLM

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technology is part of a transformation of the British multinational retailers general merchandise business
To support its international expansion, British multinational clothing, home and food department store retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S) is implementing Product lifecycle Management (PLM) to general merchandise product development across the company.
The retailer will be using PTC’s Retail PLM solution
, PTC Windchill FlexPLM, to fulfill enterprise its PLM requirements and support a four-year transformation process within its general merchandise business.
As a global brand with more than 1,000 stores in over 40 countries, M&S recently unveiled plans for further international expansion which includes the opening of 250 new stores, the growth of its food business and the increase of its franchise operations.
