Fashion retailer Gap is partnering with Google Tango smartphone technology for a virtual reality (VR) app

The DressingRoom app will let Gap customers try on clothes virtually and remotely through avatars with five pre-determined body types.

News of the development was broken at the CES event in Las Vegas.

According to Bloomberg, the app will be available this month for Lenovo's Phab2 Pro and Asus' ZenFone AR, two smartphone models that use Google's Tango augmented reality technology.
