ZBD appoints Uniscale as VISION partner in Poland and wins Trade Innovation Award at Polish Retail Show

ZBD appoints Uniscale as VISION partner in Poland and wins Trade Innovation Award at Polish Retail Show

ZBD, the e-paper for retail specialist, has confirmed that Uniscale, the Poland-based business, is the latest company to sign up to ZBD's international VISION partner programme.

The two companies are already working on a number of projects together. Uniscale showcased ZBD’s epaper solution at the International Retail Equipment, Services & Technologies Exhibition RetailShow in Warsaw, Poland this month, where it won a prestigious Trade Innovation 2010 Award in the IT technologies for retail category.

Partners target high-growth opportunity

Formed in 1991, Uniscale said it offers its customers in the food and hospitality sector a diverse product range, from scales and in-store weighing systems through to food processing equipment and consumables. Based in Poland and with countrywide coverage, Uniscale’s unique capability is its ability to maintain and service any in-store equipment, supplied by almost any manufacturer, giving customers the advantage of having a single point of contact for all their service needs all over the country.

W?odzimierz Kander, president of Uniscale said: “We select our partners very carefully and we only enter into relationships with companies that offer the most advanced solutions on the market. We know that there is enormous potential for ZBD’s electronic shelf labelling solution in Poland. Its product range is superior in design to others on the market, and the solution’s minimal infrastructure requirements were key factors in our decision to work with ZBD.”

David Rogers, sales and marketing director at ZBD added: “Poland was one of the few economies not to fall into recession in 2009 and its retail sector has excellent long-term growth prospects. We’re looking forward to establishing a successful long-term partnership with Uniscale. Winning the Trade Innovation 2010 Award marks a very promising beginning to the relationship.”
