Adidas China automates for trade compliance

By Retail Technology | Tuesday March 28 2017

Adidas Greater China is automating its China General Trade activities to more quickly respond to regulatory changes

It will streamline its import and export process using Amber Road’s global trade management software to deal with the various challenges brought by huge import and export volume.

The sportswear giant needed an automated solution to help reduce manual-based operations, minimise clearance delays and compliance risks, and respond to regulatory changes quickly.

Kae-Por Chang, MD, Amber Road China, said: “Adidas will be leveraging many functions of Amber Road’s CTM solution to manage this growth opportunity. Amber Road’s CTM InSight function will equip the adidas China team with self-compliance capabilities, which helps them conduct comprehensive and regular internal audits to proactively identify and resolve non-compliance issues with agencies in a timely fashion.”
