Interactive window debuts at RDSE

By Retail Technology | Friday May 26 2017

A new state-of-the-art interactive touch screen window for retailers debuted at this monthÂ’s Retail Digital Signage Expo (RDSE)

The 90” SENSE interactive touch, portrait window with embedded sound comes courtesy of Seloy Live and combines a transparent insulating glass unit and interactive touch surface, with built-in sound from Feonic.

Intended primarily for retail, the company’s interactive portfolio embeds touch technology securely inside glass, enabling it to also function as a regular window when switched off. SENSE is available in any size up to 3m x 6m for indoor and outdoor use, with ‘true zero’ bezels (in other words, there are none!), and boasts a touch response rate of 5-20ms.

The window was shortlisted for the RDSE Innovation Trail and Awards, appearing on the event’s ‘Winner’s Wall’.

Seloy Live sales director Anne Lindgren said: “There’s nothing quite like our products on the market, and the retail sector in particular has already begun to show a huge interest in our range of solutions – there was loads of positive feedback at RDSE. We’re rewriting the rulebook for interactive touch technology by supercharging glass.”
