Jamie Oliver cooks up better customer service

The Jamie Oliver Restaurant has upgraded its restaurant systems to enhance customer service

Box Technologies is providing the systems upgrade at the company’s London restaurants Fifteen, Barbecoa and Jamie Oliver’s Diner, as well as nationwide chain Jamie’s Italian.

Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group is boosting its point of sale system with the Cielo PX-150 from Box Technologies having already implemented the company’s kitchen display systems.

Marcin Korowiecki, head of IT systems at Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, said: “We operate in extremely busy restaurant environments – our larger restaurants can process anywhere up to 600 covers each day, seven days a week – so we knew our new POS hardware needed to be fast, sleek, easy-to use and very reliable.”

Box Technologies also provides the restaurant company with next working day on-site support and next working day ‘swap-out’ service for their mobile technology should there be any technical difficulties.
