Poundland owner chooses platform for growth

Discount retailer Pepkor Europe – owner of Poundland – has chosen a new platform to support the future growth of its brands

It has selected Oracle Cloud and will leverage the Oracle Retail Merchandising Cloud Service to unify inventory management and Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud to automate and streamline the organisation’s end-to-end financial management processes.

Pepkor Europe brands serve customers in 14 countries through over 2,000 stores, offering a diverse and constantly evolving range of products, delivering great value to our customers, aided by being a high-volume business.

Andy Bond, CEO, Pepkor Europe said: “We are confident that the centralised and enhanced inventory management capability that Oracle Retail provides, will improve our operational agility and flexibility through better visibility into inventory and margins.”
