Garden centre retailer improves customer checkout process and back-office processes

Garden centre retailer improves customer checkout process and back-office processes

Notcutts, a leading garden centre company, has successfully completed a point-of-sale (PoS) and back office roll out across six of its stores, with help from K3 Retail, the UK provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology.

The six stores are the most recent additions to the Notcutts family of garden centres and the solution from K3 will assist them with providing their customers a seamless experience at the PoS.

Jason Moon, IT director at Notcutts, said: “We wanted to migrate these stores onto the same technology we are currently using in our other 13 stores, to have all stores running on the same platform. Having worked with K3 for a number of years, they were the natural choice to provide their PoS and back-office solution.”

Moon continued: “K3 knows the business and most importantly understands our needs. We wanted a one-stop-shop and K3 was able to provide us with the technology we required.”

John Little, sales director at K3 Retail, added: “We are delighted to be supporting Notcutts on this project. K3 Retail has a successful history of implementations in the garden centre sector, and we are very pleased to continue to work with such a thriving business as Notcutts.”
