Workforce management company’s Cesium solution aims to add to the power of PeopleSoft

Accu?Time Systems announced availability of its Cesium middleware at the Oracle Human Capital Management Users Group (OHUG) meeting in Las Vegas.

Cesium is a new Oracle?validated software solution that allows Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.1 human capital management software to communicate with ATS workforce management terminals.

Cesium enables highly accurate time and attendance data collection, database and personnel management, data analysis, and reporting. By enabling two?way communication between ATS terminals and PeopleSoft Enterprise, Cesium allows the workforce management products to integrate with the leading human capital management (HCM) enterprise software solution.

Integrated HCM capabilities

As an Oracle partner, ATS exhibited its Maximus workforce management terminal with integrated Cesium software at OHUG.

According to Peter DiMaria, president of ATS: “We have developed Cesium with the goal of creating a reliable, powerful, fast, and highly efficient software solution. The software is specifically designed to give PeopleSoft users a communication and data exchange bridge so that they can easily integrate ATS time and attendance and workforce management tools. This will help push their human resource management costs down and provide the most accurate workforce data available today.”

Cesium provides simple terminal maintenance, manages multiple time zones, manages data transmission between terminals and PeopleSoft, and provides a customisable interface at the terminal and the server. Cesium uses Java to run on most operating systems, including Windows Server, Linux, and Unix, according to the company. Communication between Cesium and PeopleSoft uses XML and secure HTTPS.
