Since buying back the brand she founded in 1990 earlier this year, Amanda Wakeley's eponymous label has gone from strength to strength, reporting a move from unsustainable loss a few months ago, to profitability in the first ten weeks of taking back the reigns.

Now looking to build on this success, Amanda Wakeley has tasked digital agency, Pod1 with overhauling its current website with the 'twin goals' of using it as a successful marketing tool and an important revenue stream via an e-commerce functionality.

Amanda Squires, head of client services at Pod1 said: "We're very pleased to be working with Amanda Wakeley and we're confident the website will reflect the sophisticated and aspirational tone of the brand. The site is being designed to educate current and future customers about the brand and its evolution and will contain content such as video footage of the latest fashion lines and a blog with exclusive access to footage of Amanda Wakeley herself and information of Amanda's latest news and events, her fashion inspirations and styling advice."

Phase one of the site went live earlier this month with the e-commerce platform to launch in October.
