March 9, 2010

Independent designer fashion store increases sales and improves customer service with retail system investment

Independent boutique CoChineChine, based in Hampstead, London, has selected retail management systems supplier, Eurostop. The boutique’s stylish, quirky interior offers a different experience to the High Street, stocking handpicked designer clothing ranges, as well as limited edition soft leather handbags, belts and accessories.

Since implementing Eurostop’s retail solution, e-rmis and e-pos at till point in store, the boutique claims to have achieved more efficient stock management and increased sales through better merchandising.

Boutique stock functionality

CoChineChine is using e-rmis and e-pos to manage and track its wide range of stock items. Since opening, the store has built up an established regular clientele and will be using the Eurostop customer loyalty feature to keep customers updated of promotions and new ranges.

Mel Chan, director and owner of CoChineChine commented: “We did a lot of research before we found the right solution – Eurostop’s system was exactly what we were looking for. It is easy to use, but has all the features that we need to support the business. We have much better visibility and control of our stock, which has helped with our buying.

“We can now see which lines are selling and are more popular, tailor our merchandising and keep our customers interested and coming back regularly to view new lines. It has also helped with our planning and budgeting as we look forward. We have plans to expand the business and wish to enable our customers to buy over the internet. The online store will be fully integrated with the Eurostop system.”
