Smyths rolls out personal shopping system

Toy retailer Smyths is implementing a personal shopper system throughout its UK stores

The system – called ENPOS - was designed by Enspire and the installation is being done in partnership with Leapfrog Toys.

It incorporates a digital display unit which lets customers look for and find out more about particular product ranges, including Leapfrog’s educational toys.

This data is recorded and also available through a live feed, meaning brands who use it can shape future product development and gauge demand for existing and new items. It also provides a way of monitoring whether goods are being stocked in line with consumer demand.
