Scottish Retailer of the Year gets closer to its customers with Microsoft Dynamics-based system

 

M&Co, one of the largest privately owned fashion retailers in the UK and recently named Scottish Retailer of the Year at the Scottish Retail Excellence Awards, has selected K3 Retail, a UK provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology, to supply a new customer relationship management (CRM) solution to help it understand its customers better.

 

The retailer, with nearly 300 stores nationwide, is implementing K3 Retail’s CRM tool in time for the launch of its customer loyalty card and needed a system in place to ensure it can capture customer data.

 

Integrating disparate customer data

 

Bryce Howie, IT and logistics director at M&Co, said: “We have outgrown our existing system and needed the technology in place ready for our loyalty card launch next year. We needed a solution that was easy to integrate and provided us with the ability to improve our knowledge of our customers and their preferences.”

 

Howie continued: “Customer demographics and buying patterns are not easy to keep track of. By implementing K3 Retail’s CRM solution we will be able to gather and collate this data, and use the information to target our customers with promotions tailored to meet their needs and to provide styles and products that are aligned to their wants and aspirations, reinforcing our brand and our relationship with our customers.”
