Fast-growing fashion brand owner outsources entire warehouse and distribution logistics

Fast-growing fashion brand owner outsources entire warehouse and distribution logistics

World Design and Trade (WDT), creators of Firetrap and Fullcircle, has awarded a three-year warehousing contract with European supply chain provider, Wincanton.

The operation was previously handled in-house and 18 WDT warehouse employees have now transferred to Wincanton.

The contract operates from WDT’s 90,000-square-foot warehouse in Acton, where a wide range of men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and accessories are stored. Millions of stock keeping units (SKUs) are despatched nationally and internationally through online, retail and wholesale routes to market.

Wincanton said is managing the warehouse end-to-end, including, picking, packing, kimballing, samples processing and returns management.

Nick Fox, WDT’s logistics and operations director, commented: “WDT is all about excellence, passion and enthusiasm, values that Wincanton share with us. Outsourcing our warehousing to Wincanton will help us be more efficient and deliver the premium quality service that our customers associate with the Firetrap and Fullcircle brands.”
