Under Armour, an originator of performance sports apparel, has launched an exclusive affiliate programme in the UK with leading performance marketing network, Affiliate Window

 

Under Armour is known for its branded performance attire, footwear, and accessories and sells products worldwide worn by athletes at all levels, from youth to professional, on playing fields around the globe.

 

The brand is committed to driving international growth and expansion in key global markets including Europe, Asia, and the Americas. To support this plan, Under Armour’s digital strategy includes expanding e-commerce activities in the UK and growing a successful performance marketing channel worldwide.

 

Targeted campaign strategy

 

The Affiliate Window programme launch coincides with the brand’s current campaign, “New Battles. New Armour.” which highlights the performance advantages of Under Armour products. Beyond footwear and apparel, Under Armour offers a variety of accessories, including performance gloves, bags, headgear, socks, eyewear, and mouth guards, making product promotion through affiliates a highly lucrative endeavour.

 

The provider said that, by working closely with its dedicated Publisher Services team, Under Armour will aim to enlist relevant content publishers to join the programme with a focus on key categories including men’s and women’s sports ranging from American football, running, golf, rugby, basketball, studio fitness, and training.

 

Amy Ely, Under Armour e-commerce acquisition manager, explained: “We are thrilled to work with the UK’s leading performance marketing network and to welcome a whole new audience of affiliate partners. Affiliate Window’s global expertise and award-winning reputation will play an important role as our online business continues to expand internationally, and we look forward to building great relationships with both the network and our affiliate partners.”

 

Under Armour sponsors a range of athletes including Michael Dawson, Bobby Zamora, Michael Phelps, Lindsay Vonn, Georges St-Pierre, and Tom Brady. Next season will see Under Armour outfit Tottenham Hotspur to coincide with becoming the official kit supplier for teams including Aris FC Thessoloniki, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, and Deportivo Toluca.
