Quiz Clothing drives multichannel appetite

UK apparel brand moves into m-commerce with new app that extends multichannel strategy and offers customers an optimised mobile experience

Quiz Clothing has strengthened its multichannel retail strategy with the launch of a transactional iPhone application designed to give the brand valuable real estate on customers handsets.

Built by cloud-based multichannel retail experts One iota, the app is designed to give Quiz a new m-commerce channel to deliver sales growth.

The app provides an integrated shopping experience, including the ability to browse the full catalogue of Quiz products, build and save a basket of goods and then pay securely.

Extending channel reach

Haroun Saleemi, head of e-commerce at Quiz, stated: During 2013 we plan to extend our trading reach across as many channels as possible and we are pleased to be working with One iota who are helping us to achieve this goal.

Recent research from trade body, the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), found that 80% of smartphone owners use their devices to shop. 

One iota also said the latest evidence suggests that mobile and tablet are starting to replace many of the core functions of computers and, having a native iPhone app will give Quiz customers the ability to shop when and how they like.
