Amazon plans robotic mannequins

By Retail Technology | Friday July 14 2017

Amazon has won a patent for a new system for robotic mannequins

The mannequins can be adjusted to fit the shape of the prospective online buyer while pressure readings determine whether the garment is too loose, too tight or the perfect fit.  It then takes a ‘selfie’ for the consumer.

The mannequin can also be used for photo shoots of clothes in different sizes.
