By Retail Technology | Wednesday July 26 2017

Jeweller Astley Clarke has seen international sales soar after implementing new cross-border ecommerce software

Within 18 months of partnering with Global-e, Astley Clarke has seen international revenue has increased exponentially by 367% and pushed the share of international sales from 15-20% before launch to 25-40% of the mix each week.

To be competitive in international markets, Astley Clarke needed to deliver a more engaging customer shopping experience that matched the high standard enjoyed by UK customers. With the new software, Clarke was able to give international customers the ability to pay with their local currency and different local alternative payment methods as well providing the option to pre-pay all import taxes and duties.

In addition, all international orders came with free delivery and convenient domestic returns.
