Debenhams illuminates flagship store

By Retail Technology | Thursday July 19 2018

Debenhams has updated its flagship Oxford Street store in London with a new dynamic window installation

The department store has worked with Unibox to develop a custom graphic solution for its window promotion.

Working directly with the Debenhams design team, Unibox guided initial concepts from an engineering perspective, which resulted in a custom specification of their Kinetik LED Lightbox - which features dynamic LEDs that augment a tension fabric graphic, with another Unibox innovation - Magnetik integrated inside the display.

This allows the Debenhams team to create eye-catching window displays that amalgamate replaceable graphics and physical product display.

Focus points

Parallel to the 20 metre dynamic lightbox, is another Kinetik display, sat on top of industrial-styled castors that mount onto a custom-designed track system, that allows the VM team to create focus points throughout the window.

From brief to installation, the Unibox team delivered the unique solution in five weeks.
