FamilyMart upgrades cash management

Japanese convenience store chain FamilyMart has cut the time spent on cash management by 40% with new cash counters

The implementation of Tellermate T-ix cash counters means 30 minutes is being saved for store, per day.

From reconciling cash drawers, to preparing banking deposits; FamilyMart employees arw now be able to quickly and accurately count and process the cash across some 8,000 stores.

The result is a reduction in labor costs and more importantly, an increase in the time that employees can spend on the shop floor, enhancing the customer experience.
