Smythson upgrades IT support

Luxury leather goods retailer Smythson is now benefitting from new tailored IT support software

The company is using first-line IT support from Retail Assist which is delivering ‘in hours’ onsite desktop and store system support.

Retail Assist offers managed services and solutions to a range of retail and hospitality clients, including their multi-lingual IT Help Desk, which operates around the clock with support available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Through consultation with the client, Retail Assist (RA) were able to tailor a solution to meet the specific needs of Smythson.

Customer relationship 

As part of the tendering process, Smythson spoke to RA’s other customers and found that their relationship was built on a long-term rapport, which was fundamental in its decision to choose them for IT support.

Eoin O’Connell, head of IT at Smythson, said: “We needed a hands-on approach and I’ve been impressed with the support and engagement. They know about our business.”
