Homebase upgrades efulfilment

By Retail Technology | Friday April 12 2019

Homebase will go live in July with a new fully managed customer order delivery service

The deal involves the provision of carrier management, invoice validation and Drop Ship Vendor services, which are part of the wider efulfilment  proposition of Wincanton.

The service is estimated to allow Wincanton to manage over 300,000 customer deliveries from Homebase distribution centres in the first year of operation.

At the heart of the deal is the retailer’s commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.

Stuart Tosh, Head of Distribution at Homebase, said: “We’re looking forward to working in partnership with Wincanton to ensure we deliver an efficient and effective service to our customers.”
