Coop Sweden deploys category management software

By Retail Technology | Wednesday October 2 2019

Swedish grocer Coop Sweden has implemented new category management software to allocate space and localise planograms

To support its sustainability goals, Coop Sweden has selected solutions from JDA Software to reduce waste and improve product availability in each of its 800+ grocery stores.

Localisation was one of the challenges and drivers towards the selection of JDA Category Management to automate planograms, enabling the planning of store shelves according to shopper behaviours with the aim of improved and customised selection in Coop stores leading to reduced waste.

This will also optimise the position, performance and layout of product categories to precisely meet local consumer demand and drive sales.
