Seasalt launches supplier hub

By Retail Technology | Thursday September 16 2021 | UPDATED 15.09.21

Cornish fashion brand Seasalt has implemented a new supplier hub to support its commitment to ethical business and sustainability

Seasalt sells online to 157 countries as well as having 70 retail stores across the UK and Ireland and developed the new hub in collaboration with Fuse - the learning and knowledge platform that has been supporting employee development at Seasalt since January 2020.

The new hub was designed with the purpose of enabling seamless communication and creating a more connected supplier ecosystem that better understands the Seasalt brand, its values, and in particular, its commitment to ethical trading practices around the world.

Launched to all suppliers in May 2021, the hub is already proving popular with suppliers as it provides quick and easy access to knowledge - a key benefit that is helping to create better affiliation with the Seasalt brand and nurture an ethically strong and legally compliant supplier network.

Seasalt chief people officer John Govier said: “Fuse has been a fantastic tool for Seasalt to develop our people strategy and take internal communications to the next level. Rolling it out for our supplier partners has allowed us to share our values and improve our communication with them..”
