Grocery app partners with Co-op

By Retail Technology | Friday October 28 2022 | UPDATED 28.10.22

Grocery delivery app Getir is now stocking a broad range of Co-op products as part of a new partnership

Getir is piloting the new range in select stores across London, expanding to additional locations in the coming months - offering consumers across the capital the chance to trial the new combined offering.

It is working with Nisa Retail, the wholesale division of The Co-op Group, who will be supplying their own brand products.

Offering Co-op's products will massively increase the choices available for Getir’s customers, with around 300 lines across ambient and fresh.

Trial

The new availability was trialled on 26th October in the Battersea, Earls Court, Seven Sisters, Balham, Tottenham and Bethnal Green stores, leveraging Getir’s network to enable delivery of groceries within minutes for their combined customer base.

James Roberts, Head of Sales & Wholesale Corporate Development, NISA Retail said: “We’ve always prided ourselves on the excellent range of products we make available and so giving customers the best possible choices when it comes to groceries and combining that with the convenience of rapid home delivery was a natural fit. We look forward to hearing what customers think.”
