Spar wholesaler adds automation

CJ Lang & Son, wholesaler for Spar in Scotland, has selected a new partner to automate and optimise their supply chain processes

It will use Relex to deliver integrated store and DC forecasting and replenishment, as well as improved allocations and promotional forecasting for CJ Lang’s company owned stores and distribution centre. Relex will also drive improved order accuracy, sharing of forecasts to suppliers, and fresh assortment optimisation.

Graham Murdoch, IT director at CJ Lang & Son, said: “We look forward to utilising market-leading forecast and replenishment solutions to optimise our processes, increase visibility throughout our operations, and maintain quality in our customer offer.”
