Best Buy personalises app

By Retail Technology | Friday May 17 2024

US consumer electronics retailer Best Buy is rolling out new features designed to give customers a more personalised shopping experience

By leveraging technologies including AI, the app now puts consumers in the driver’s seat, allowing them to shop and see products, categories and services the way they want.

Customers with a My Best Buy Plus or My Best Buy Total membership, will be able to enjoy an even more personalised experience while shopping within the app, including exclusive member deals and personalised offers.

“These enhancements to our app are further examples of how we’re continuing to leverage data and technology to personalise and humanise consumer electronics like nobody else can,” said Brian Tilzer, chief data, analytics and technology officer at Best Buy. “Our customers have unique needs and preferences, and our goal is to inspire discovery of amazing new technology and ensure it truly enriches their lives, all in the most relevant, seamless way possible.”
