Snapchat launches AR locker room

By Retail Technology | Friday July 5 2024

Social media platform Snapchat is launching an augmented reality (AR) locker room in Selfridges flagship London store on Oxford Street.

The locker room pop-up includes AR Mirror experiences, giving sports fans new ways to experiment and interact with AR lenses, virtually try on sports kits from their favourite teams, and see how they’d look in a bespoke  Team Selfridges Sportopia football kit.

Shoppers using the AR mirror will gain access to a one-time QR code where they can save their favourite looks to their devices - and share with their friends and family on Snapchat.
