Walmart increases automation at RDCs

Retail giant Walmart is adding automation to two of its regional distribution centres

The new tech installation in Arizona and Arkansas will enable Walmart to double the number of processed cases per hour compared to traditional RDC output.

Walmart is looking to have 65% of stores receive merchandise from tech advanced distribution centres by the end of next year.
