Spring GDS opens new UK hub

Post NL’s international subsidiary Spring GDS has officially opened its new UK hub at London Heathrow

Designed to enhance international shipping capabilities and with sustainability at its heart, the 30,000sq. metre facility can process 40,000 items per day. It is by 256 solar panels on the roof, with an EPC rating of A+. 

Kelly van der Weg, MD of Spring Global Delivery Solutions UK said: ‘The UK remains an important hub for any truly international ecommerce provider.  Spring GDS had a 500> Euro turnover last year fuelled by factors including a 40% year on year volume growth in our commercial business.”
