Michelin starred Cantonese restaurants Hakkasan are adding a new payment service to its UK locations

To cater to the growing number of Chinese tourists to their restaurants, Hakkasan has partnered with Adyen to give diners the option to pay with their preferred local payment methods such as Alipay, UnionPay and WeChat Pay.

The new service will also be available at Hakkasan’s authentic Japanese restaurant Sake no Hana in Mayfair, London.

Through Adyen’s integration with the Oracle Simphony PoS solution, restaurant diners will benefit from pay at table functionality; including the ability to print the bill, split the bill, and add custom tips – all without waiting staff needing to leave the table.

Customer interaction

These features will help to reduce waiting times and maximise customer interaction.

Reliable connectivity, including a 4G failsafe will help to deliver an uninterrupted experience for its visitors.

“Experience is everything, especially when you are offering a luxury service” said Myles Dawson, UK Managing Director, Adyen. “We are using our partnerships within the food and beverage industry to deliver a high-end payment experience to Hakkasan’s customers.”
