EPoS maintenance deal extended with Vista Retail Support to keep retail jeweller trading

 

Beaverbrooks, UK prestige retail jeweller, has renewed its electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) service and maintenance agreement for a further three years with Vista Retail Support to enable it to continue to provide award-winning service to customers.

 

The independent EPoS maintenance services provider will continue to support the retailer across its 65 sites, providing service on all in-store EPoS, as well as back-office PCs and all in store printers.

 

Patrick Walker, head of IT at Beaverbrooks, said: “At Beaverbrooks we pride ourselves on the customer experience. We have recently introduced netbooks into our stores. This allows store staff to sit with the customer in a comfortable seating area within the store and make the whole sales process a more personal one. We also have mobile chip and PIN pads enabling customers to pay for their goods without having to get up and go to a till. Vista will be supporting these devices.”

 

Supporting service expansion

 

The retailer has also recently introduced the Beaverbrooks Club where its members sign up to receive special offers and catalogues. Walker added: “This is designed to capture customer information allowing us to identify what that customer has spent and which channel they have purchased through. For us it will help how we can interact with our customers better.”

 

He continued: “We have been a customer of Vista’s for many years now and they have always done the job we have wanted them to do, so renewing our EPoS service and maintenance agreement with them was an easy decision for us to make. Not only does Vista understand retail inside out, they also understand our business and what’s important to us.”
